Basic Crepe Recipe

Basic Crepe Recipe

Makes approx. 10 crepes

1 cup all purpose flour

2 large eggs

1 1/4 cup Milk

1/4 teaspoon Salt

2 Tablespoons melted butter OR vegetable oil

In a large bowl whisk the eggs. Gradually add the milk and flour, stirring to combine. Add the salt and butter; beat (blend) until smooth.

Refrigerate 1 hour, if too thick, add more milk.

Heat a lightly oiled pan over medium heat.

Pour 1/4 cup of batter into the pan per crepe.

Tilt in a circular motion to evenly coat the surface.

Cook till the top is dry, approx. 45 seconds

Loosen with a spatula, turn over and cook the other side another 15-30 seconds.

Finished Crepes can be stacked on top of each other, Fill with your favorite toppings, fruit & whipped cream, Lemon juice & sugar, Nutella.
