The Recipe Wall O-309

It was sometime around my Junior year of college that I made a discovery. I love cooking. Something about how it brings people together, how it's always different, there is always something new to learn, some new technique or recipe to try. I had a kitchen in my first apartment, yes I shared it with my 3 roommates but I had freedom to make whatever I wanted. Apt O-309.

I began to explore the culinary world beyond boxed brownie mix and chocolate chip cookies ; I discovered a passion for making delicious meals (not just the occasional dessert). I began taping my recipes to the open wall in the kitchen, which doubled as a colorful array of wallpaper decor and easy reference. My roommates followed suit, and over the course of the 2 years I lived in Apt O-309 we created a lovely wallpaper.

Time came to move out and rather than losing my precious recipes I taped them all into a lined notebook. That book now entitled 'The Recipe Wall O-309' it is probably the first thing I would grab if my home were on fire.

The Recipe Wall is filling up more and more isince graduation, and I've been meaning to save some of my favorite recipes else where (just in case), so this blog will be dedicated to doing just that. As I have time (and remember) I'll take photos of my favorites when I make them and post here with the recipes.

Some of these mealsI have acquired over the years from friends, roommates and random websites, others are creations of my own that I don't mind sharing with the rest of the world. I hope learn how to make something delicious here, to share with the people in your life.

Happy cooking!

-Angela
